About Dr. Gibson

chiropractic physician dr gibsonDr. Gibson has been a chiropractic physician for 34 years and graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago in 1980. The curriculum consisted of 4 years of coursework dealing with the spine, the nerves, x-rays, diagnostic tests and treatment of diseases of the body as well as a final year of Internship at the chiropractic school’s clinic. A B.S. degree from the University of Miami was received in 1976.

After graduation he served as an instructor in the Chiropractic Department at the National College of Chiropractic and taught the chiropractic adjusting techniques to new students. Dr. Gibson also functioned as a clinician for younger interns at the college’s clinic. A part-time practice in Oak Park on the outskirts of Chicago was concurrently maintained.

In 1983, he established Belmar Chiropractic in Belmar, New Jersey. It was a family based practice focusing on seniors, automobile injuries, work injuries, and sports injuries. Services were provided to the community for over 12 years.

In 2003, post graduate studies in alternative medicine were pursued and a degree as a Doctor in Naturopathic Medicine (DNM) received from the Department of Integrative Medicine at the Southern Graduate Institute of Health Science, an affiliate of St. Luke University School of Medicine. A license to practice Naturopathy in Idaho was received in 2004.

Naturopathy is an alternative method healing which is licensed in many states, utilizing natural medicine, herbs, vitamins, plants, homeopathy, acupuncture, oxygen, light, water, heat, detoxification, and other natural remedies in the treatment of human ailments. It is broad in scope by design so that many different therapies may be utilized by Naturopaths for a patient's benefit.

Dr. Gibson has currently been practicing in Venice, FL since 2005. He focuses on care for lower back and neck pain, spinal injuries, treatment for neuropathy, auto accidents, sports injuries, senior and family care, Anodyne Infrared Therapy for Neuropathies and Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression for un-resolving disc, spinal stenosis, post surgical failures, and spinal conditions.

Wellness and natural anti-aging care is also practiced utilizing nutrition, treatment, detoxification, and other natural alternatives. Standard Process Supplements are utilized in his practice as well as Physiologics.
